My thoughts are this. Preterism did not start back in the 15th century by a Jesuit priest.
It was actually taught by the apostles themselfs, scripture teaches it. the Apostles not only taught it but belived it was going to happen in there day which it did.
Matthew chapters 23 and 24 are in direct reference to the soon return and judgment by Jesus Christ in that Generation "this generation shall not pass away till all be fulfilled.
