Most assemblies believe it comes automatic when a person believes. If the scriptures were taught correctly and the message preached and received then those who repented and were willing to turn to the LORD from their false ways then they would receive the Holy Ghost and they would speak in other tongues and glorify Jesus. But the doctrine of salvation has been tampered with by many things and many people.
I believe the Holy Ghost (Spirit of God) is essential to our salvation. 1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him,and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. It was the Spirit that draw me, that save me, keeps me and will raise me up one day!!!!!
