You who are rushing, rushing
You who are waiting, waiting -
Blessed are you who come in the Name of the Lord.
You who are leading, marching
You who are anointed, appointed -
Blessed are your swift feet to follow Him.
But when the watchmen come to you
Knocking earnestly on your doors -
Blessed are they who bring His warnings too.
They who work hard to raise a family
In love and Godliness day by day
Are no less precious saints of God;
She who is wresting, laboring
In prayer on the floor
Is no less a part of My Kingdom
Than those who march bravely, victoriously
Into the uttermost parts of the earth
Wrapped in the prayers of the little ones -
Because it is about obedience,
Following the Lord God Almighty
And carrying our own particular cross.
